We pride ourselves on offering the best of local, seasonal food from ‘The Garden of England’.  Our fish and shellfish comes from local day boats and our meat and vegetables are farmed locally. We are on first name terms with our suppliers and we share their concerns about responsible and sustainable fishing and farming. We are an hotel with a kitchen as much as a restaurant, and you can eat in our dining room or sat on a stool in the pub. The food is always as good.

Stay over After Dinner

We offer a choice of 16 rooms:  We have seven OLD SCHOOL  rooms – irregular shapes and sizes in the old part of the hotel, comfortably and tastefully furnished, reflecting our Kentish coastal history.

Nine COASTAL CLASS, modern, mews style rooms, including two, family-friendly apartments, fresh and decorated in a clapboard New England style.

All rooms have goose down quilts, crisp cotton linen, tea, coffee and broadband. Enjoy your stay.
